Presidents Message

Welcome to the new FCRBC website !! Thanks to everyone that has stepped up to take a executive position in the club – welcome to new members and great to have return members for 2019.. The club has a 1 day 3 sanctioned ARBA show planned for Oct. 26th 2019.This show is always been a great success and I am sure will be again. It is always a bonus to have the youth (4H) attend and also the cavy breeders OCC and ARBA .A show flyer will be posted soon!!!The executive is always open to new ideas to help keep the show fresh and interesting?? Be sure to drop us a line with your ideas. A few ideas popped up at our last meeting that we are hoping to implement ( a short gathering of members just before the show to help delegate jobs for the day) ??( also possible a posted list of positions to sign up for the day to help out ???) All great ideas .This year we are also hoping to subcontract out the food booth?? Hoping for a person or persons or catering Co. or service club to supply everything plus man the kitchen- the total profit going to them?? If anyone wishes to volunteer or knows of someone drop us a line. Also the photo booth up for discussion to offer again for Oct.?? We are hoping to have a meeting in late Aug. or early Sept. to set plans for the Oct. show -then another meeting in early Nov. to set the executive for 2020 as the club will need chartered by Jan.1st. Its been a long winter with very little sun- lets hope you have had some litters or are on the way so as breeders we can get out and support the Ontario shows .
